‍

For Iggy Azalea’s 2017 single Switch, featuring Brazilian pop star Anitta, OTHRWRLD produced a two-day, two-location music video for director Thom Kerr that threw everything at the screen.

Day one took over a private estate in the hills of Beverly Hills. Day two moved out to Gardens of Paradise in Agua Dulce, where we custom-painted a swimming pool in the middle of the desert, before a company move to a stage in Castaic. Trucks aplenty and a Technocrane with two operators kept pace with more setups than a volleyball game.

Then came the menagerie: custom-carved 8-foot ice alligators, live African servals, a macaw named Pepper, and Ripley the toucan, driven in from Missouri and put up at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Choreographer Oththan Burnside brought in dancers galore to perform alongside Iggy and Anitta, on a closed set with an MTV crew in tow.
