Crocs engaged Lil Nas X to design a new collab drop, and they needed a campaign concept that would stop the scroll. OTHRWRLD partnered with longtime collaborator, director Thom Kerr, to come up with an OTHRWRLDLY idea.

Nas’s fluffy Crocs were giving caveman, so we put him in an alternative Futuristic Caveman Land where he was the Queen.

With only a week from approval to shoot, we hustled one of our favorite production designers to build our IRL rock set, complete with “ancient” spaceship hardware and a couple of truckloads of red sand. We bumped in at Stage THIS in Sun Valley and had a riotous shoot with Lil Nas X, who fully embodied his new persona.

We handled post-production end to end and delivered some viral moments for Crocs and Lil Nas X.
